Die eingearbeiteten plastischen Symbole nehmen Bezug auf den Text und fassen zusammen, was im Leben von Michael wesentlich war: das Wandern in der Natur, die Liebe zur Literatur und Musik. Die Vorder und R\u00fcckseite der Stele sind gw\u00f6lbt, die Oberfl\u00e4chen fein gestockt und anschliessend von Hand geschliffen.<br \/>\nDie Inschrift ist in Kapitalis Buchstaben eingehauen und der Text lautet wie folgt:<br \/>\nMAY THE ROAD RISE TO MEET YOU, MAY THE WIND BE ALWAYS AT YOUR BACK. MAY THE SUN SHINE WARM UPON YOUR FACE, THE RAINS FALL SOFT UPON YOUR FIELD.
